About the Doomscroller Salary Guide

Short answer
Who publishes this site?
This site is published by Influish and written by the Influish Editorial Team. Influish is the company that, according to media reports, posted an Instagram video around 4 November 2026 seeking a paid “doomscroller”. We state this plainly because it matters: the publisher of a salary guide is also the employer in the story. To manage that conflict, this site holds itself to the same rule as everyone else — it says only what has been publicly reported or published, and it marks everything else as unknown.
Being published by Influish gives this site no special access. Nothing here is an official announcement of pay, terms or hiring decisions. Where official information exists, it will come through the company’s own channels.
What is the purpose of the guide?
The viral coverage left one question unanswered: what does the job pay? The honest answer is “not disclosed”, and we think that answer deserves context rather than guesswork. So the guide explains:
- What is known and unknown about the role’s pay, with a status for each detail.
- How this kind of work is usually paid, structurally.
- Which skills tend to affect pay.
- Sourced benchmarks for related roles, with caveats.
- How to answer the expected-salary field and what to ask before accepting an offer.
How is the content researched and checked?
News facts come from a shared, dated fact-check of the coverage: each report was loaded and read, claims supported by two or more independent reports are stated with attribution, single-source claims are labelled, and pages that could not be loaded are not used. Salary benchmarks follow the rules in our salary research methodology: a figure appears only if we fetched its public source, with its date, basis and link. Reports are summarised in our own words.
What does this site not do?
- It does not accept applications or link to unofficial application forms.
- It does not publish estimated, rumoured or “expected” salaries for the doomscroller role.
- It does not give legal, tax, financial or employment advice.
- It does not publish reviews, ratings or testimonials.
How do corrections work?
If you find an error — an outdated figure, a misattributed claim or a broken source link — email support@influish.com with the page address and the source for the correction. We correct factual errors promptly, change the page’s “Updated” date, and do not silently alter figures. If an official pay figure for the doomscroller role is published, we will add it with its source and date.
